MINUTER MAT TA
WRITIN
I would reply that it is too late to arrange a
further interview with Sir R. 9. Stubbs,
and say that in view of the Gov.'s attitude
on the question of compensation for goodwill
the S. of 3. does not see his way to over-ruling
him in the matter, esp. as Lord Milner after
very careful conson, of the matter informed the
that 0/while
Gov. by desp. of 14 Sept. 20 while he was advised
that the Petitioners were in equity entitled
to compensation for all losses actually
incurred, loss in respect of future profit
should be excluded.
